PRAISE FOR FERMATA:

‘a lyrical text of Zen-like suspension . . . resonate(s) with silences, shift(s) between suffering, love, and desire, and combine and reclaim(s) traditional materials with the alchemical power of the fearless poetess.’  (Canadian Literature A Quarterly of Criticism and Review) Click for full review.

Various poems in Fermata originally appeared in the chapbook Anon Necessity, published by LyricalMyrical Press, Toronto 2009. Anon Necessity is a handmade limited edition book, bound between recycled boards from the SallyAnn.  If you’re lucky enough to get one with an error in it, you’ll find the error covered up by an original drawing by Luciano Iacabelli.  It’s not easy to get a copy, except directly from the author, so if you want one, best to keep an eye on the page “appearances.”
